MTE is one of the UK’s foremost facilities for the preparation, fabrication and surface preparation of modular and fire & blast protection equipment enabling us to serve our clients on a worldwide basis.

Our internationally recognised fire and blast testing has enabled us to develop innovative engineering solutions with techniques and software fully validated by third party authorities.

From our state-of-the-art Darlington facility, MTE’s advanced thermal insulation systems are engineered & fabricated for high-performance energy and defence applications, with a particular focus on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), Advanced Modular Reactors (AMRs), and broader nuclear power systems.

In 2013 Mech-Tool Korea Inc (MTK Inc) was formed to provide a local manufacturing option for Korean shipyards whilst maintaining MTE’s high standards of safety and quality.
