Heat shield cladding systems are designed to protect personnel and equipment against the effects of radiant heat and adverse environmental situations including offshore fields in extreme arctic conditions.
In harsh environments the effects of solar radiation can cause degradation to delicate electrical components, HVAC systems and fuel lines which can lead to problems if the incident radiation is particularly strong or long lasting.
Through their innovative design and carefully chosen components, MTE ventilated cladding systems can achieve an immediate percentage reduction in incident heat flux in excess of 90% making them an ideal solution.
Panels are available with various single skin perforation patterns or in a double skin arrangement to suit a project’s required performance.
The panel’s corrugated geometry is carefully selected to enhance its spanning capacity without detriment to its performance.

Panels are designed using an MTE standard proﬁle of 80mm and are typically 1050mm in width and supplied as a framed or unframed option.

Supplied as a 32% open area front skin coupled with an additional secondary perforated skin to give enhanced heat and wind velocity reduction values for use in extreme wind and heat conditions.
Panels are individually designed by MTE and are typically 1000mm in width as a framed panel.

Panels are pre-drilled prior to delivery so additional drilling work is reduced thereby speeding up the erection process and reducing site costs further.
Panels are supplied with ﬁxed holes in the bottom member and vertical slotted holes in the top member to allow for panel expansion during periods of ﬂaring / heat exposure.
