We were delighted to welcome our local MP Lola McEvoy to Mech-Tool Engineering yesterday for a tour of our new Thermal Defence manufacturing facility in Darlington.
This visit was a valuable opportunity to showcase the specialist role we play in supporting the defence and energy sectors—particularly through our work on critical national infrastructure and government-backed programmes.
Over the past decade, we’ve worked closely with leading UK defence primes to develop and test advanced thermal insulation systems, purpose-built to meet the stringent performance and survivability requirements of UK Defence Platforms. Our new facility strengthens our ability to deliver these cutting-edge solutions at scale, from design and qualification through to manufacturing and integration.
