Last week MTE welcomed Kieran, a year 10 student from St. Bede’s school in Peterlee for his work experience week! Kieran has an interest in design engineering and therefore spent the week with the company’s in-house design team.
With Kieran’s brilliant work attitude and guidance from the team, he gained experience in 3D modelling/drafting, finite element analysis (FEA), and completed the structural analysis of a beam using software and manual calculations.
It was a great week inspiring the next generation to seek opportunities within the industry!
