MTE are delighted to have recently delivered the latest package of work to Anglo American for the Woodsmith Mine after supplying to the project for over a year. MTE were appointed to engineer, fabricate, construct and supply fabricated support structures including ventilation supports and main pipe brackets.
The Woodsmith project is a deep mine and associated transport, processing and shipping infrastructure development under construction in North Yorkshire, UK. The project involves sinking two major mineshafts to access deposits of polyhalite ore which once processed, will be sold to farmers globally as a natural fertiliser.
The team have worked very hard over the past 6 months to deliver this scope and despite a challenging year, MTE’s expert team delivered the project on-time and within budget.
