MTE has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract for the Arctic LNG 2 project! Due to successfully delivering fire & blast walls to GBS 1 on time and within budget, MTE have been awarded further scope of work with Bomesc Offshore Engineering for GBS 2.
The Arctic LNG 2 project is a major liquefied natural gas (LNG) development located on the Gydan peninsula in Western Siberia, Russia. The project includes the construction of three LNG trains, with a capacity of 6.6 MTPA of LNG each.
MTE will design, engineer, fabricate and deliver fire and blast walls in in both Carbon and Stainless steel to suit specific applications including cryogenic spill.
MTE’s world class carbon steel wall systems will act as both a blast & fire barrier in times of emergency, preventing disruption to the surrounding modules. The stainless-steel protective wall systems will provide high standards of fire and blast protection to personnel and equipment and will protect against the harsh arctic conditions.
