We are delighted to welcome five new members to our team here at Mech-Tool Engineering. MTE’s new recruits’ roles include an Operations Director, Quantity Surveyor, Planning Engineer, Marketing Graduate and Receptionist Administrator.
As we are committed to continuous growth and development, our new team members have been appointed to assist in helping us deliver our world class solutions and we are confident they will do just that.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Camp CEng MBA as Operations Director. Matt has an engineering background that has developed into senior operational and commercial responsibility in the energy industry, including offshore wind energy and oil and gas markets.

Richard Hall joins MTE as a Quantity Surveyor with 16 years’ experience in the field having previously lead Quantity Surveying on major multi-phase production topside packages, responsible for all onsite subcontractor management. Richard’s responsibility here at MTE is to evaluate, maintain and forecast accurate cost and value for designated elements of projects by means of measurement, estimation, calculation, administration, contract (and subcontract) interpretation and negotiation.
Scott Pearson joins MTE as a Planning Engineer having started his career in a trade apprenticeship in plating with experience in heavy fabrication for large offshore projects such as topsides and jackets for the oil and energy industry. Scott was eventually made Works Preparation Supervisor and was responsible for compiling and managing work scopes through production, in line with project requirements with various interface and reporting responsibilities to both production and client. Scott’s responsibility here at MTE is the development and maintenance of planning systems for MTE, he is also responsible for the compilation and updating of planning schedules/programmes for both internal company control purposes and external client information.
Georgia Nixon joins MTE as our Marketing Graduate having recently graduated from university with a First Class Honours Degree in Business and Applied Marketing Management and was awarded the DC Reclamation Award for excellence in practice and academic performance. Georgia will have the responsibility of providing support to the Business Development department with regard to marketing activities, identifying new opportunities and follow up the marketing strategy with the required approach as determined by the team.
Kayleigh Martin joins MTE as our Receptionist Administrator having gained experience and valued knowledge in the area, acquiring numerous certificates including her BIIAB Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration. Kayleigh’s responsibility is to ensure an efficient and professional reception service is always provided and to provide general administrative support to the HR department and Business in general.
