We are delighted to have secured a contract with one of the UK’s leading air filtration companies to deliver our industry leading blast relief systems on what will be the UKs largest onshore gas storage facility.
Located in Cheshire, the Stublach Gas Storage facility is the biggest salt cavern storage project in the country and – with natural gas stored 500m below the surface until customers require it – is set to enhance the security of gas supplies to the UK for the foreseeable future.
The contract that will see us design, manufacture and install a stainless-steel blast relief system – adds to our company’s growing reputation and track record of working on a number of the world’s largest alternative energy projects.
Speaking about the successful contract win, our MD, Anthony Jones, said: “The Stublach Gas Storage facility is such a unique and ground-breaking project in its own right that we are thrilled to have been awarded this contract to deliver our industry leading blast relief systems to such an extraordinary scheme. For us, this contract win very much highlights our proven reputation for working on some of the country’s – and the worlds – most advanced alternative energy projects and where our track record of delivering our blast relief solutions are second to none.
“MTE has already proved – and will continue to demonstrate – its capabilities in the alternative energy sector and we are very much looking forward to adding the Stublach Gas Storage Facility to our growing portfolio of work in this sector.”
