Mech-Tool Engineering (MTE) is delighted to announce the recent load out of four Remote Instrument Enclosures (RIEs) for one of the world’s largest oil and gas production projects.
The load out – which took place from MTE’s riverside base at Middlesbrough – saw the four modular units lifted onto the vessel which will now ship them to their final destination point in Kazakhstan.
The completed project will see MTE provide its world leading solutions as part of a full turnkey project which has including providing initial design expertise through to engineering excellence.
The RIEs have high security levels and are designed to operate in extremely harsh environments with ambient temperatures ranging from -36°C to + 50°C. The modules will provide the requisite seismic resistance related to the area with a minimum design life of 20 years.
MTE is proud to be one of the world’s leading manufacturers and global suppliers of hydrocarbon fire and blast rated modular products that are DNV and Lloyds registered providing weight and cost savings to projects across the world.
