Mech-Tool Engineering is delighted to announce that we are once again supporting Southwold Rugby by donating money to help towards buying new kit and equipment for the club.
Southwold Rugby Club based in Suffolk hosts an impressive 15 teams and has over 300 members that range from Under 7’s through to Over 40’s. Founded in 1964, initially fielding only one team, the club now comprises a 1st XV and 2nd XV, a ladies team (The Swallows), U13 to U17 Youth teams (Sharks) as well as U7s to U12 Minis teams (Seagulls).
We are sponsoring the club – that is a charity affiliated to the Rugby Football Union and fully funded by membership subscriptions and donations of club sponsors – to support the general need to update and replace training kit and equipment on a continual basis as the success and environment created at the club attracts new players to the sport at the grass roots level. This is as well as supporting the clubs upcoming Mini’s Tour taking place on 25th February to watch Saracens play Leicester Tigers in the Aviva Premiership at Allianz Park, London.
We wish Southwold Rugby the best of luck for the future, hoping that the Mini’s enjoy their forthcoming Tour. MTE is always keen to support clubs and charities, it is important to us that we always engage in opportunities that present growth and recognition for charities and communities across the UK.
